What AskFirst does — and doesn’t

AskFirst gives an automated second opinion on whether something might be a scam. It can be wrong, in either direction. It is not legal, financial or security advice, and it can’t guarantee that any message, call or request is safe. Always verify through a contact you already trust before sending money or information.

Accounts

Helpers must be 18 or older. You may add a protected person only with their knowledge and agreement. Keep setup links private; anyone with an unused link can sign in as that person.

Plans and billing

The Family plan renews monthly or yearly until canceled. Cancel anytime in Billing; your plan continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with 30 days’ notice.

Acceptable use

Don’t use AskFirst to harass anyone, to test or improve scams, or to break the service or its limits.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, we aren’t liable for losses from scams or decisions made using it, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
